The primary work for this course is a series of homework problems
designed to illuminate central theoretical issues in contemporary
syntax and provide a somewhat deeper exposure to the key phenomena
than may have been encountered in undergraduate courses.  There will
probably also be a bit of reading, usually after the fact.  You can
expect about one or two written assignments per week, including a
couple of squibs, and a final paper which may or may not be on a set
topic.

Exceptional Meeting Times:
Because of my committee responsibilities, the following Thursday classes
will be at other times (but all still in the Cave):
