Write the grammar of English.  You can separate out anything that you believe is due to Universal Grammar, but specify what that is.

Clearly, a large part of the grammar of English is in the lexicon, and you don't have to provide a complete one.  But you should indicate where it is relevant, and how it interacts with the rest of the grammar.

This is a whole group project, so you have to coordinate.  I'll want one writeup, presented on the first day of class, September 23.

Our meeting place is the little shack down below Stevenson, on the road that goes down from the Provost house.  It's downhill and to the left from the Stevenson Library.  If you need a map, let me know and I'll provide one.

On the first day, please also come with a list of the things you want to know about syntax.  We'll try to satisfy all desires.
