I.  The following illustrate some interesting facts about WH questions:

(1)   Who you thought was bothering who is no concern of mine.

(2)  *Who you thought who was bothering is no concern of mine.

(3)   Who was saying what about who(m)?

(4)  *What was who saying about who(m)?

(5)  *Who(m) was who saying what about?

Make up more examples of this kind, to make sure you understand what
is going on.  What do we have to say about WH-movement to account for
these facts?

II. Derive the following:

(6)   Who shot who appears to have been assumed to be irrelevant.

(7)   How many students each program admitted is going to be difficult
	to find out.

(8)   What does Harvey think makes who Bill said talked to who so important?

(9)   How many students each program admitted is going to tell us something
	about which subject areas are expected to be of interest to what
	category of applicant.
